The dramatic colors, geometric shapes, and values found in this painting are inspirational to my design.
I am toying with the idea of using several underlying art deco themes to differentiate the spaces in the facility. One of these, Muses of Art Deco, gets its backbone from many of Tamara de Lempicka's paintings.
Another theme I'm toying with is a celestial theme. Many of the murals and sculptures that adorn Rockefeller Center are Olympian in the art-deco style, adorned with celestial elements of brilliant shape and color. Using many of these elements, I want to try and create the "Heavens" with vivid blue skies and gilded shining stars.
